Morgan Samuels Company works with the Head of Compensation, HR leaders and Hiring Managers at Client Companies to provide custom compensation studies, which in essence answer the questions "what pay does the market demand for a particular role?" Recent studies included compensation analysis to answer the following questions:
How much do C-level executives at health plans make vs. C-level executives at other firms?
How much do consumer goods finance executives cost as a function of experience?
How much should I pay for a Director of Business Development with top secret clearance who sells into the Department of Defense?
How much do regional Retail Banking executives cost as a function of deposit size and number of branches managed?
 
 
Process
Morgan Samuels Company conducts market research through varies outlets to collect comprehensive data on the full compensation packages for individual in the specific area that is requested. The data we collect is from the market, from individuals in the job, and is in real time, not generated via a survey.
 
Data is available in presentation format (PowerPoint) or in an Excel flat file. Data fields include: Title, Company, Industry, Location, Base Pay, Bonus Pay, Long Term Incentives (e.g., equity), and Years of Experience. To protect the confidentially of the individuals providing their compensation we will not share names or contact information.
 
 
Fee Structure
Fees for compensation consulting services are broken down on an hourly basis. The estimated number of hours for a specific assignment is based on the scale and scope of the project and negotiated with the client in advance.
