Our client, one of the most recognized consumer brands in the world, is seeking a strong operations-focused Human Resources Executive to fill the top human resources role in one of their key operating units.
The Senior Director, Human Resources Operations will lead HR for four major businesses. This individual will have responsibility for organizational planning, development, employment, and training, as well as employee relations, industrial relations, and employee services.
More specifically, the Senior Director, Human Resources Operations will:

Partner with Vice Presidents, Operations and Supply Chain to solve business related issues. Partner with executive leadership to develop functional and commercial objectives, goals, strategies and measures that drive business strategy. |

 |
Direct organizational planning; evaluate organizational structure, job design, and manpower forecasting. |
| |
|
 |
Direct the administration of the human resources planning and functional succession planning processes. |
| |
|
 |
Establish standard recruiting, placement practices, and procedures for high-level managers. |
| |
|
 |
Monitor the continuous evaluation of all human resources policies, programs, and practices; ensures that immediate supervisor and operations executive leaders are informed of new developments. |
| |
|
 |
Oversee the development and management of the corporate Performance Incentive Program and the Annual Salary Planning process. |
| |
|
 |
Support corporate diversity initiatives to include community and educational involvement. |
| |
|
 |
Develop, coach, and mentor subordinate staff. |
| |
|
 |
Responsible for department budget, capital planning, updates, and compliance. |
|
| |
| QUALIFICATIONS |
|
|
Candidates must meet the following qualifications:
|
|
 |
8+ years of broad human resources experience. |
| |
|
 |
3+ years of management or leadership experience. |
| |
|
 |
3+ years of experience working in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing environments. Experience must be in a “product-driven” environment. |
| |
|
 |
Experience supporting an organization with at least 800 employees with multiple sites. |
| |
|
 |
Experience acting as a member of a corporate or divisional leadership team with a proven track record of adding value. Must have ability to influence senior level leaders throughout the organization. |
|
|
| EDUCATION |
|
|
A Bachelors degree is required. A Masters degree in Business Administration Human Resources or Organizational Development is preferred.
