Our client is a globally recognized consumer products company and is seeking a strategic executive to oversee new business development and strategic initiatives for the North America region.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
This executive will be responsible for growing existing product lines as well as partnering with R&D and marketing to develop and license new products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
10+ years experience in business with at least two years in a Business Development role, having developed a new business roadmap resulting in significant growth.
Must be a creative thinker that has successfully launched new business initiatives (new products, markets, channels, joint ventures, or licensing).
Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives, resulting in new growth of $100 million in annual revenue from new products, markets, channels, joint ventures, or licensing.
Proven experience in developing analytical frameworks to identify ideas, assess opportunities, define alternative paths, estimate operational and brand risks, and probability of success.
Experience working closely with or within Marketing, Sales, R&D, and Finance functions to achieve optimal returns.
Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and work well with ambiguity.
Ability to influence multi-functional senior level executives throughout the organization.
EDUCATION
A
bachelor's degree is required. An MBA is
strongly preferred.
