Our client is a leader in gaming entertainment.
 
RELATIONSHIP
This position reports to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
 
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The Vice President, Marketing will be accountable for building our client’s global brands and driving revenue, profitability, and market share. This executive’s role is multi-dimensional, and involves leading the marketing department in the development and execution of global brand strategies, product line plans, and marketing programs. This position is responsible for global brand leadership, strategic planning and implementation, P&L, financial planning, and overall brand performance for a $250 million business scope. He/she will integrate and drive all marketing strategies within the organization among peer executives as well as with key external customers, including distributors, retailers, event organizers, and consumers. This executive will manage a team of six Director and/or Senior Manager level direct reports, and a total organization of 70+ employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified candidates must possess the following:
DDD Minimum ten years senior level marketing management experience with prior experience at the VP or CMO level preferred.
 
DDD At least ten years of consumer marketing experience, including experience marketing a physical consumer product, and experience marketing innovative, dynamic, and category growth products.
 
DDD Prior experience with digital games and/or technology products is strongly desired.
 
DDD Experience crafting an overall brand strategy and driving significant growth and expansion in a well regarded consumer brand.
 
DDD Significant team building and staff management experience with proven success in developing strong relationships with, and the respect of, other functional executives.
 
DDD Demonstrated ability to drive company growth and market share through data and market analysis
 
DDD Demonstrated success developing and implementing trade-marketing programs.
   
DDD Successful experience in a publicly held organization is preferred.
   
DDD Strong knowledge and experience of best practices in category management and distribution. 
   
DDD Experience leading and managing significant sized marketing teams, with experience managing a global team a plus. 
   
DDD Prior experience working within a matrixed environment.
   
 
EDUCATION
Four-year college degree required with emphasis in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
 
COMPENSATION
The selected candidate will receive an attractive compensation package, which will be commensurate with experience, and will include a base salary, annual target cash bonuses, and long-term incentive.
