Cathy Kim Walker
Principal

Ms. Walker is a Principal for Morgan Samuels and works bicoastally out of the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters and New York.  She joined the firm six years ago and is responsible for both executing and securing executive search assignments.  Ms. Walker has developed a reputation for rapidly filling challenging executive positions by partnering effectively with her clients and aggressively deploying the company’s resources on each assignment she leads.  She has been invited to speak on national television and at industry events on topics ranging from competitive talent acquisition to hiring trends in the industry.

Leveraging her experience working for both Fortune 500 and rapid growth emerging companies, Ms. Walker specializes in General Management, Marketing, Sales, Strategy, Manufacturing, Technology, and Supply Chain placements for Morgan Samuel’s Fortune 500 consumer and retail clients, and CEO and executive leadership searches across multiple sectors for the firm s private equity-backed clients.

Prior to Morgan Samuels, Ms. Walker was the Vice President of Marketing for GST, a high growth green building materials company.  Earlier in her career, Ms. Walker was a Project Manager for New York Times Digital, the digital arm of The New York Times, and a Product Marketing Manager for FairMarket, Incorporated, an e-commerce technology company that had its initial public offering in 2001 and was acquired by eBay in 2002.

Ms. Walker holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a BA in History from Dartmouth College.
