Matthew Bevier

Matthew BeVier is a Senior Client Consultant in the Los Angeles office of Morgan Samuels and is responsible for managing client relationships for Morgan Samuels.

Mr. BeVier has experience working in the oil/gas industry on both upstream and downstream projects. He has delivered economic and political risk assessments to energy clients pursuing business development in Southeast Asia.

Prior to that, Mr. BeVier worked as a Senior Consultant for Electronic Data Systems in Washington, DC where he worked with global clients in both the private and public sector. While at EDS, Mr. BeVier helped to implement the desktop, mobile computing, and help desk operations for a State law enforcement agency that realized a 20 percent operation cost savings of $40.9 million over five years.

Earlier in his career Mr. BeVier was a field engineer for Schlumberger Oilfield Services in West Texas where he worked at the well site with geologist to conduct real time reservoir evaluation and optimization.

Mr. BeVier holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is proficient in Bahasa Indonesia.
