F. Michael Budd
Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Budd is the Chief Operating Officer of Morgan Samuels and is responsible for the operational performance of the Company. He has over 25 years operational experience within the automotive, consumer electronics, equipment and software industries. He has a successful track record leading both service and manufacturing organizations for companies within environments that include start-ups, turnarounds, high-growth and mature market situations. He has managed facilities throughout the US, Europe and Asia. He has also been directly involved with the evaluation, planning and integration of several acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures. At Morgan Samuels, he is responsible for Business Development, Search Execution, Candidate Management, Corporate Development, Facilities, Finance & Accounting, Human Resources, Research, Marketing & Public Relations and Information Technology.

Prior to joining Morgan Samuels, Mr. Budd was President of his own consulting company focused on assisting early stage companies with a multitude of business issues including acquisition integration, business development, operational performance, product development, and strategic planning.

Mr. Budd was previously Chief Executive Officer of Synthonics Technologies, a high tech software start-up with a patented technology for the creation of three-dimensional digital content. There he was responsible for development and execution of the revenue model, packaging of the technology into saleable products, design and implementation of all operational processes, capital funding, and customer acquisition.

Prior to joining Synthonics, Mr. Budd held a number of executive positions at Harman International including Group President of a $700 million operating unit.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Budd held several executive positions within operations at ITT, Hydril Company and Rockwell International. He started his career with General Motors.

Mr. Budd earned his BS in Industrial Engineering from General Motors Institute and his MBA from the University of Detroit.
