April 30, 2007 – Morgan Samuels Company,

four executive placements at Washington Mutual.

| The company appointed Jhoselin
Fernandez as first vice president and senior regional
manager, retail banking, Queens. Fernandez had
most recently been the consumer market manager,
northeast division at Bank of America. Previous
to that, Fernandez was the district manager, New
Jersey and Pennsylvania region at Fleet Boston
Financial Corporation. Fernandez received her
BS in Accounting from State University of New
York, Old Westbury in Old Westbury, New York. |

appointed was Eileen Aragon as first vice president
and senior regional manager, retail banking, Fresno.
Aragon had most recently been the vice president
and regional service manager at WestAmerica Bank.
Previous to that, Aragon was the assistant vice
president and customer service manager at WestAmerica
Bank. |

| Brandon North was named
as first vice president and senior regional manager,
retail banking, Tampa. North had most recently
been the consumer market executive at Bank of
America. Previous to that, North was the innovation
design executive at Bank of America. North received
his BS in Finance and BA in Spanish from Miami
University in Oxford, Ohio.

| WaMu also appointed Michael
C. Fratantoni as senior manager, economic strategist.
Fratantoni had most recently been the senior director,
single family research and economics, research
department at Mortgage Bankers Association. Previous
to that, Fratantoni was the director, economic
and policy research, regulatory policy department
at Fannie Mae. Fratantoni received his PhD in
Economics from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore,
Maryland, his MS in Economics from Johns Hopkins
University, and his BA in Economics from College
of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. |
