LOS ANGELES, Calif. – June 3, 2010 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Gregory M. Jungles as Chief Information Officer at Davita. Davita provides life-sustaining dialysis treatments to patients suffering from end-stage renal disease (also known as chronic kidney failure). As one of the country's largest chains of outpatient dialysis centers, the company operates or provides administrative services to about 1,500 centers across the US. The firm also offers home-based dialysis services, as well as inpatient dialysis in some 700 hospitals. DaVita also operates clinical laboratories that specialize in routine testing of dialysis patients, and its DaVita Clinical Research business conducts research trials with dialysis patients.
Mr. Jungles had most recently been the Senior Vice President, Informatics and Data Services – Alere, Limited Liability Company at Inverness Medical Innovations, Incorporated. Previous to that, Mr. Jungles was the Vice President, Informatics at Matria Healthcare, Incorporated. Mr. Jungles received his BBA in Management Information Systems from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
