LOS ANGELES, Calif. – June 10, 2010 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Stephen E. Shanck as President, Public Safety and Professional at Communications Harris Corporation’s RF Communications Division. Harris Corporation (NYSE: HRS) develops communications products for government and commercial customers worldwide, makes microwave, satellite, and other wireless network transmission equipment; air traffic control systems; mobile radio systems; and digital network broadcasting and management systems. Among its largest customers are the US government, prime contractors, and foreign militaries, which together account for more than three-quarters of sales.
Mr. Shanck had most recently been the Executive Vice President, Secure Networks North America – EADS Incorporated at European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company N.V. Previous to that, Mr. Shanck was the Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Computer Technology Division at General Dynamics Corporation. Mr. Shanck received his BSBA in Marketing from University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida.
