MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT WELLCARE HEALTH PLANS

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – July 10, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Juan R. Serrano as Vice President, Corporate Provider Networks at WellCare Health Plans. WellCare Health Plans is a leading provider of managed care services targeted exclusively to government-sponsored programs, focusing on Medicaid and Medicare. WellCare offers a variety of Medicaid and Medicare plans, including health plans for families, children, the aged, blind and disabled and prescription drug plans.

Juan R. Serrano had most recently been the National Vice President Network Strategy, Ovations at UnitedHealth Group, Incorporated. Previous to that, Serrano was the Executive Director at UnitedHealth Group of Dallas. Serrano received his BBA in Management and Finance from Baylor University in Waco, Texas.
