MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT COVANTA ENERGY CORPORATION

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – August 16, 2007 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Keith Coughlan as Tax Director at Covanta Energy Corporation. Covanta Energy Corporation engages in the development, construction, ownership, and operation of infrastructure for the conversion of waste-to-energy (“WTE”) and independent power production in the United States and internationally.

Coughlan had most recently been the financial and tax director at Aergo Solutions. Previous to that, Coughlan was the director of taxation at National Guardian Corporation. Coughlan received his BA in Economics (Accounting and Finance) from Rutgers College in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
