Morgan Samuels Company Places Key Executive at Deckers Outdoor Corporation

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – December 30, 2009 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Jessica Buttimer as Vice President, Brand Marketing at Deckers Outdoor Corporation. Deckers Outdoor Corporation makes and markets Teva sports sandals (a cross between a hiking boot and a flip-flop), and UGGs (sheepskin boots/shoes). Other product lines include Simple and TSUBO. Deckers Outdoor's products are made by independent contractors in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. It sells them through ten United States retail stores, independent distributors, catalogs, the Internet, and two company-owned outlets in the United Kingdom.
Buttimer had most recently been Director of Marketing – Green Works at The Clorox Company. Previous to that, Buttimer was Director of Marketing – Cleaning at the Clorox Company.
