MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT WELLCARE HEALTH PLANS, INCORPORATED

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – May 6, 2009 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Mark Lantzy as Chief Information Officer at WellCare Health Plans, Incorporated. WellCare Health Plans, Incorporated provides managed-care administrative services to government-funded health care programs that provide health care benefits via Medicaid, Medicare, and various State Children's Health Insurance Programs (“SCHIPS”). WellCare serves 2.4 million members and also offers a Medicare prescription-drug plan nationwide.

Lantzy had most recently been Head, Business Information Technology Strategy and Portfolio Management at Aetna, Incorporated. Previous to that, Lantzy was Partner at Accenture. Lantzy has a BA in Mathematics from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pennsylvania and a MS in Operations Research from The George Washington University in Washington D.C.
