MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVES AT NERO

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – February 07, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced three executive placements at Nero. Nero’s portfolio of products defines new levels of innovation in the company’s three key areas of focus: Digital Media; Audio and Video Compression Technologies; and VoIP Solutions.

The company has named Richard Carriere as president, the americas. Carriere had most recently been the general manager, office productivity at Corel Corporation. Previous to that, Carriere was a team leader at McKinsey & Company. Carriere received his MBA from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from Université de Montréal in Canada.

Frank Fletcher was named as general counsel. Fletcher had most recently been the senior counsel, products and technologies law group at Sun Microsystems. Previous to that, Fletcher was legal counsel at Zoran Corporation. Fletcher received his MBA in Finance from University of Colorado in Colorado Springs, Colorado, his JD in Law from University of Florida College of Law in Gainesville, Florida, and his BA in Marketing from University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Nero also named Juergen Kurz as senior vice president, pc business line. Kurz had most recently been the senior vice president, worldwide product management at Quark, Incorporated. Previous to that, Kurz was the senior vice president, desktop business unit at Quark, Incorporated.
