MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – April 6, 2009 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Alan Phillips as Vice President, Internal Audit at The Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory owns and operates more than 140 casual-dining restaurants in 35 states. Each restaurant has a unique design, but all have over-the-top opulence and Las Vegas-style glitz. In addition to its flagship concept, the company operates more than a dozen Grand Lux Cafes offering a similar menu.

Phillips had most recently been the Partner, Advisory Services at Ernst & Young. Previous to that, Phillips was the Senior Vice President, Audit at City National Bank. Phillips is a Certified Public Accountant and received his BS in Accounting from San Diego State University.
