MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT WELLCARE HEALTH PLANS

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – October 2, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Rex Adams as Chief Operating Officer at WellCare Health Plans, Incorporated. WellCare Health Plans, Incorporated provides managed care services exclusively for government sponsored healthcare programs, focusing on Medicaid and Medicare.

Rex Adams had most recently been the President and Chief Executive Officer, AT&T East Region at AT&T, Incorporated. Previous to that, Adams was the President, Bellsouth Wholesale Services at BellSouth Corporation. Adams received his MBA in Business Administration from Harvard Business School in Boston Massachusetts and his BA in Economics from West Point Military Academy in West Point, New York.
