MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT QUALCOMM

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – April 6, 2009 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Jean-Marc de Grandpre as Vice President, Marketing - Mobile Commerce (Firethorn) at Qualcomm. Qualcomm pioneered the commercialization of the code-division multiple access (CDMA) technology used in wireless communications equipment and satellite ground stations mainly in North America. Firethorn/Qualcomm mobile commerce initiative offers platform based wireless managed services to financial institutions, card issuers, and wireless carriers globally.

de Grandpre had most recently been the Vice President, Marketing at Purple Beverage Company, Incorporated. Previous to that, de Grandpre was the Managing Director, New York Red Bulls, a major league soccer team. de Grandpre received both his MBA in General Management and his BS in Business from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire.
