LOS ANGELES, Calif. – February 6, 2009 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of David F. Lyons as Product General Manager at Glacier Bay.  Glacier Bay is energy a technology company that develops and builds eco-friendly and efficient intelligent thermal management and power systems that adapt to their operating environment in real time, using up to 50% less energy than conventional technologies.

Lyons had most recently been the Director, Engineering at Tesla Motors.  Previous to that, Lyons was the Program Manager, Smart Products Group, Technology-Enhanced Experiences Practice.  Lyons received his MBA and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford in Palo Alto, California and his BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT in Boston, Massachusetts.
