MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVES AT PECOS

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – September 12, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the promotion and placement of two executives at Pecos, Incorporated. Pecos, Incorporated is a $1 billion plus group within Maxum Petroleum. Maxum Petroleum is a multi billion dollar portfolio company and a national marketer of petroleum products, focused on providing a comprehensive fuel and lubricant offering to commercial and industrial industries.

Michael Ruehring was placed as the Senior Vice President, Operations at Pecos, Incorporated in April 2008 and was recently promoted to President, Pecos Incorporated. Before joining Pecos, Ruehring had most recently been the Senior Manager, Operations Excellence at HD Supply Facilities Maintenance Limited. Previous to that, Ruehring was the Program Manager, Global Sourcing Business Intelligence at GE Energy. Ruehring received his BS in Engineering from United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

Ruban Morales was placed as Michael Ruehring’s replacement as Senior Vice President, Operations at Pecos, Incorporated. Morales had most recently been the Vice President, Distribution and Logistics at Master Halco, Incorporated a subsidiary of Itochu International. Previous to that, Morales was the Interim Chief Operating Officer at Unisource Solutions, Incorporated. Morales received his BSBA in Business Administration from University of Phoenix in Gardena, California.
