MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVE AT PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL GROUP
 
LOS ANGELES, Calif. – August 18, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced the placement of Naim Munir as Vice President, Chief Medical Officer of Principal Health at Principal Financial Group. Principal Financial Group is a leading global financial company offering businesses, individuals, and institutional clients a wide range of financial products and services. Their range of products and services includes retirement solutions, life and health insurance, wellness programs, and investment and banking products through their diverse family of financial services companies and national network of financial professionals.
 
Naim Munir had most recently been the Senior Medical Director at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey. Previous to that, Munir was the Medical Director and Chief Operating Officer at AMERIGROUP, New Jersey. Naim Munir received his MD from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois, and his BA in Chemistry from University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois.
