MORGAN SAMUELS COMPANY PLACES KEY EXECUTIVES AT WACHOVIA

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – January 01, 2008 – Morgan Samuels Company, a leading national management consulting firm specializing in executive recruitment, today announced four executive placements at Wachovia Corporation. Wachovia is one of the largest providers of financial services to retail, brokerage, and corporate customers throughout the East Coast and the nation.

The company has named Dennis Barnette as commercial risk director in the risk management division. Barnette had most recently been the senior loan supervisor, commercial banking group at Wells Fargo. Previous to that, Barnette was the senior loan supervisor at Wells Fargo. Barnette received he MBA in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California, and his BA in Economics from Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

Tom Windsor was named as western division commercial senior relationship manager in the commercial banking division. Windsor had most recently been the relationship manager and vice president at Comerica Bank. Previous to that, Windsor was a principal at Marwit Capital. Windsor received his MBA in Finance and Marketing from University of California, Los Angeles, and his BS in Electrical Engineering from California State University in Long Beach, California.

Geoff Coar has been appointed as commercial senior relationship manager in the commercial banking division. Coar had most recently been the vice president, business development – orange county commercial at Wells Fargo. Previous to that, Coar was the relationship manager – orange county at Wells Fargo. Coar received his BSBA in Finance from University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina.

Also appointed was Kent Grubaugh as private banking regional director in the wealth management group. Grubaugh had most recently been the senior vice president and premier banking market manager at Bank of America. Previous to that, Grubaugh was the vice president, finance and human resources at Kukulica and Associates, Incorporated. Grubaugh received his BS in Business Administration, Finance from San Diego State University in California.
