Aligning our Best Practices with our Client's Needs

At Morgan Samuels, we reward consultant behavior based upon our primary mission statement. Do what is in our client's best interests. While on the surface this should not seem to be a novel idea, the executive search industry overall largely rewards consultants based on one criteria only, and that is billed and collected revenue. It is our view at Morgan Samuels that our consultants be guided by a range of criteria which our clients view as important to include speed of execution (completions under 90 days), quality candidate assessments, repeat business (reflection of a strong relationship), consultant teaming, and multiple placements.

Within our firm, we have a sophisticated Human Resources function dedicated to continually enhancing our best practices methodologies, and overseeing the subsequent impact and accountabilities on every single assignment. Moreover, we have comprehensive training and performance evaluation programs to maximize quality performance. In the area of research, our firm strongly believes in maintaining superior resources both in terms of our research consultants, and technology employed. We exceed industry standards with respect to the resources dedicated to exceptional in-house research support. Based on our competitive findings, as a firm we have roughly four times the research resources available to our consultants than what is available to the consultants in other executive search firms.

As seasoned search consultants, we prioritize the need to get out of the blocks quickly on every search assignment, and our compensation plan not only drives consultant behavior which is aligned with our client's interests, but guides our research associates as well. At every level within our firm, to include administrative assistants, each individual at Morgan Samuels shares in the rewards of every successful assignment. Every employee at Morgan Samuels fully understands and contributes to our mission of excellence in search execution.
