Mr. Scott
is the CFO and a Principal in the Beverly Hills
office of Morgan Samuels Company and is responsible
for managing relationships with some of the
firm’s major clients. Prior to joining
Morgan Samuels Company, Mr. Scott was a business
strategy advisor at Bain & Company, Inc. |

Leveraging his experience as a strategy consultant,
Mr. Scott focuses on advising private equity,
venture capital, industrial, manufacturing,
technology, professional services, distribution,
health care, consumer goods, and financial
services clients on human capital issues.
His particular areas of expertise are general
management (CEO, President), operations, sales
& marketing, finance, business development,
and strategic planning assignments. At Morgan
Samuels Company, Mr. Scott is continually
exploring new ways to leverage analysis of
his client’s customers, competitors
and industry trends to drive identification
and evaluation of talent. He partners best
with companies that are highly analytical
and process driven and interested in long
term collaborative relationships.

At Bain & Company, Mr. Scott assisted
clients in many industries including financial
services, semiconductors, consumer electronics,
IT services, telecommunications, retail, health
& nutrition, manufacturing and entertainment.
Mr. Scott successfully advised clients on
many different issues including product line
review, market entry strategy, supply chain
design, process reengineering and cost reduction.
Mr. Scott directly improved client’s
profitability, with benefits including revenue
enhancement (up to $200M growth) and cost
reduction (up to $150M reduction). Additionally,
clients benefited from lead-time reductions
of up to 75% and product availability improvements
of up to 55%. Mr. Scott’s career at
Bain was strongly international in flavor;
during his consulting career, Mr. Scott was
based in each of Bain’s San Francisco,
Sydney, Johannesburg, London, Paris and Los
Angeles’ offices.

Mr. Scott holds a Masters in Business Administration
from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor
of Chemical Engineering degree from Monash
University in Melbourne, Australia.
